The BS Pre-Medicine year is a Philippine regulation for foreign medical students. It is NOT an extra year — it is equivalent to the Foundation Year in MBBS. Indian students who have completed 12th PCB are eligible to start directly in BS Pre-Med. The year covers basic medical sciences bridging school-level science to medical school level.
