What is NExT?

NExT (National Exit Test) is India's new single medical licensing examination introduced by NMC. It replaces both the MBBS final year exam (for Indian students) and FMGE (for foreign medical graduates). All MBBS graduates — Indian and foreign — must clear NExT to practice medicine in India.
