New NExT Exam (Replacing FMGE)

From 2025 batch onwards, FMGE is replaced by NExT (National Exit Test). All foreign MBBS graduates must clear NExT Part 1 (theory) and NExT Part 2 (clinical/OSCE) before getting permanent medical registration in India.

NMC requires Indian students to qualify NEET (any score above cut-off) before joining a foreign medical college. There is no separate minimum NEET score for overseas MBBS.
